welcome to How to Look Chic.com! My name is Anna Villaruel and I’m the fashion editor and image consultant behind fashion & style advice site The Chic Fashionista.com.

I created this blog as an addition to the website to bring you the latest updates at The Chic Fashionista.com and more fresh and in-depth fashion advice and tips on improving your style and image. You’ll also get the latest dish of the current fashion trends, super chic finds, sales & discounts and lots of chic inspiration! I’ll also throw in a Today’s Outfit and my personal opinion on fashion & style every now then as well.

I’m deeply passionate about fashion & style and helping women to look their best. The whole concept behind The Chic Fashionista.com is to help you achieve a chic style with sass and look fabulous all the time. I don’t believe in duplicating a person’s style or the latest runway trends from head to toe – but I believe in customizing a look or clothing into something that reflects YOUR personal style.

Other than that my interests and hobbies also include: Photography, spirituality (I can be deep too), astronomy, clubbing/dancing, traveling, food & eating, learning new languages, reading & bookstores, health & nutrition and jewelry making.

My Style:

Clothing style: Classic

My main style persona is Classic but I have some Trendy, Romantic and Bohemian tendencies in the way I dress. I love both classy tailored lines as well as sensuous ruffles and draping. I’m in my twenties with a social circle of trendy friends so I also tend to gravitate towards the hottest trends. I’m very into rich & warm colors, exotic prints and jewelry because they complement my dark hair and eyes, which explains my Bohemian side.

But all in all,  I’m known among my peers for my classic style with feminine-vintage, up-to-date and exotic twist
