Current Fashion Trends: Black Tights
Nicole Richie kept it pretty basic here, but don’t you agree how chic and pulled together she looks? With a pair of plain black opaque tights she transformed them into one heck of a stylish outfit — mixing classics with trends — with distressed cut-off denim shorts, black ankle booties, white blouse and a black coat on top.
But the delicious topping of the cake must be the Jackie O round sunglasses and black leather gloves <3
Here is my advice on wearing black opaque tights:
• As with any black or dark colored bottom, wear them with caution, espcially if you decide to wear it with a light clored bottom. The contrasting colors will automatically cut a petite woman’s frame in two and make her look shorter.
• To look extra tall and slim, do it like Nicole Richie: streamline your outfit with a black coat or jacket.
• Add a surprise element with the basic tights with a pair of ankle booties or platform gladiator shoes. Miss Richie does it with black gloves and denim shorts.
